Being scammed in a social site was the worst experience I have had in my entire life. I did not see it coming though, because I never heard of such cases until it happened to me. I was busy using the site to connect and to share with my friends when I accidentally gave my contact numbers to a stranger I met in the site. He was very kind, and one would never tell that he was indeed a scammer. The next thing I remember was sending so much money to him to finance a project he told me of, and he was to pay back the money after a month. When I tried contacting him later, I could not get through to him, he was gone with all my money. I felt so stupid for trusting someone I had just met over the internet, but thank God I had facebook telephone number UK. I reported the scam case and the Facebook team launched their investigations. Facebook users should not trust any strangers in the site in order to avoid telling such a sad story as mine.
